This post is being created for the sole purpose of giving all of Wendy's friends and family a place to write any encouraging thoughts or great memories you have with Wendy.
President Thomas S. Monson often repeats a quote that goes something like "memories are June Roses in the Decembers of our lives." As a cancer survivor myself, I know how important awesome fun memories are at this time for Wendy.
Use this post to write in the comments any thoughts or memories that come to mind when you think of the amazingness that is Wendy.
Hi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better tonight and get to where you can use your computer soon. It takes me so long to text that I lose my train of thought before I'm done with the message, so I'm better at email.
Wendy Jean, what a blessing you are to call my friend! I have so so many memories of joy, fun and laughter with you! I love when you smile with that flicker of mischief in your eyes, it makes me LOL just thinking of all the memories associated with all you say with your eyes.....your beautiful blue eyes. I plan on coming to visit you in the new year and visit with your twinkling eyes. So many memories of laughter, from way back when.....YOU slept through the "spring break" earthquake....OMG.....from the time I had color processing on my hair and another earthquake and we opened the back door to see what was going on....along with our expletives! Our trip to Victoria BC to surprise Michelle for her 40th bday.....to your great surprise for my 40th with a stinky Macarena dancing monkey as you laughed so hard with tears rolling down your face.....hiding behind the swinging doors of the back room. Oh I could go on and on.....but I'll hold on for now, because I plan on writing and sharing more of many new memories to be made. Hang in there my friend, be strong and may you gain strength through the love, prayers and comfort that surrounds you! xoxo

ReplyDeleteThinking of you Wendy and hoping that the influenza moves away quickly from you. My mother also said to say that she wishes you all the best with recovery and healing. I hope that they find you a donor soon.
